Responsive Web Design Mobile Design Digital Design

Mubadala Petroleum needed a digital design direction that reflected the scale and ambition of its oil & gas exploration and production work — presented through a clean, modern experience that worked seamlessly across web and mobile.

The challenge

Mubadala Petroleum operates across the full upstream cycle — exploration, appraisal, development, and production. Communicating that breadth of complex, technical operations to investors, partners, and talent demanded a digital presence that was both authoritative and genuinely easy to navigate.

Energy-sector sites often default to dense, corporate layouts. The opportunity was to present the business with clarity and confidence — and to make that experience work just as well on mobile as on desktop.

Our approach

We developed a set of pitch visuals and a responsive design direction — structuring the experience around Mubadala Petroleum's core activities and building a visual language that felt modern, credible, and unmistakably energy-sector.

Layouts were designed mobile-first, with a clear information architecture so that operations, projects, and corporate content remained easy to find on any device.

A responsive web and mobile design concept that gave Mubadala Petroleum a clean, confident digital presence — clear across every screen size.

The design direction introduced a structured, modern layout system organised around the company's upstream activities — exploration, appraisal, development, and production — so complex operations could be understood at a glance. A restrained palette and clear typographic hierarchy kept the experience authoritative without feeling corporate or cluttered.

Built mobile-first, the responsive layouts adapted fluidly from desktop to handset, ensuring investors, partners, and prospective talent could access the same polished experience wherever they were.
